Air Fried Chicken Tenders

Here’s a super easy recipe that has been keeping my kids happy. This has become our go to protein for Monday night dinners.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins

  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour

    • Note: you can use Gluten Free if desired

  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/4 tsp olive oil

  • 1/3 cup Panko (for extra seasoning try Italian Panko)

    • Note: Panko makes both versions with a Gluten Free option

Prep

  • Using three bowls

  • Mix the flour and Italian Seasoning in bowl 1

  • Add the Olive Oil to Milk in bowl 2

  • Add the Panko to bowl 3

  • Toss each chicken tenderloin first in the flour mixture, then milk, and finally the Panko

  • Pre-heat your air fryer to 400

Cooking

  • Cook your seasoned tenders in your air fryer for 12-16 minutes

    • There’s a range here because all air fryers are different

  • Flip the tenders 3/4 of the way through the total time

  • Tenders should be golden brown when finished

  • According to FoodSafety.gov you should always cook your chicken until it reaches an internal temp of 165 (°F)
